Where to Eat in Paris!

For those who don’t know me well, trying special food is always necessary for me while traveling. Paris has a lot to offer in this matter. During our 3 days visit, we tried some good restaurants that I will be sharing with you!

Breakfast

Angelina Paris
One special experience we really enjoyed is having breakfast at Angelina Paris. Its elegant and charming interior made our visit even more pleasant. I am a hot chocolate fan so I had to try their famous “African” hot chocolate which is a mix of three kinds of African cocoa from Niger, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. It has an exceptional taste, this is the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted! I even brought back a bottle with me, they’re available for sale at the tearoom. The pastries, the jam.. everything was amazing! A must try!

Paul
Paul was always a great option for breakfast and as it is originally a french restaurant, we had to try it in Paris too. Omelette with hot chocolate can never be bad. It was a tasty breakfast but I still have Angelina’s breakfast on the top of my list!

Lunch/Dinner

La Petite Hostellerie
While in Paris, you must try at least one restaurant that serves traditional french cuisine. We came across this restaurant while wandering “Boulevard Saint Michel” street, you will find there many restaurants but the reason we chose this one was because of its appealing front door decoration, it was full of cheese. We had “Raclette” and “Fondue”, they were amazing. As a cheese lover, they were the best thing I could have for lunch in Paris. What could be better than melted cheese and wine?!

Le consulat
Hidden in the beautiful streets of Montmartre, I specifically searched for this restaurant that directly attracts you on the outside. We tried their mussels and snails for lunch, yes we dot eat snails! We really enjoyed our time in this cozy restaurant away from the crowds. It was the best option in the area, away from all the commercial restaurants.

Léon de Bruxelles
We do love mussels so we had to try them again but this time we chose a specialist in mussels. I’ve heard about this place and its good reputation before and it turned out to be amazing, as expected. We ordered many pots with french fries and Belgian beer and couldn’t get enough! If you love mussels you should definitely try this restaurant!

Dessert

Macarons
The french pastry that you should not miss! This pastry is so good but it is very complex to cook and if you try it at the wrong place, you will hate it. It is pretty expensive but I personally didn’t care as I love it so much and I needed to taste it from the best shops! I tried it from the most famous shops in Paris, Pierre Hermé and La Durée. I preferred La Durée which has amazing flavors like salted caramel, vanilla, strawberry, coconut.. Try both, their packages are appealing and you won’t regret it!

Amorino
This famous Italian gelato restaurant is a must. Italian ice cream is the best ice cream you could ever taste even in Paris. Their waffles are also perfect! You would come back again and again for their satisfying desserts!

There are definitely many other restaurants to try in Paris. A great option for dinner is Le Relais de l’entrecôte, famous for its quality of meats, but we didn’t really have the time to wait in a queue to have dinner. Knowing where you want to eat before going to Paris is important in order to plan it ahead and get the best of it! Some things cannot be missed, at least for me!
